Welcome to the Vision Analysis Lab of CAUC(VALCA) @ School of Computer Science and Technology, Civil Aviation University of China. VALCA laboratory relies on Civil Aviation Information Technology Research Base. Our research interests mainly include computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Recently, we are focusing on the visual understanding via deep learning, e.g., person re-identification, crowd counting, video/image detection and segmentation, video captioning, cross-modal Retrieval, pose estimation, fine-grained behavior understanding and its application in civil aviation. We also focus on the practical application of civil aviation video surveillance system, including situation awareness, anomaly detection, model compression and edge computing.
